Pump Technology Services manufacture all types of pumps, but it's our 'W' Series submersibles which have found great favour with major mining companies, where their reliability and repairability have resulted in significant savings.

 

Our PTS Sterling W series pumps match Grundfos' SP range and all parts are fully interchangeable. With the PTS Sterling W Series you'll get  the same quality and performance at a fraction of the cost. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Construction

• Submersible Motor & Pumps for deep wells of 4”(100DN), 6”(150DN), 8”(200DN) and 10”(250DN)
• Sized for connection to the motor according to NEMA standards.
• Delivery casing with built-in-non-return valve.
• All standard pumps are completely manufactured out of AISA 304SS Sheet metal.
• Impellers:

Mixed flow 4” – W8A, W14A

Mixed flow 6” – W30, W46, W60

Mixed flow 8” – W77, W95

Mixed flow 10” – W125, W160, W215

Applications

• Water Supply.
• Irrigation.
• Civil & Industrial applications.
• Fire fighting applications.

 

Performance 4”

• Head range up to 579 meters.
• Flow range up to 18.8 m3/hr.

Performance 6”

• Head range up to 730 meters.
• Flow range up to 78 m3/hr.

Performance 8”

• Head range up to 407 meters.
• Flow range up to 123.8 m3/hr.

Performance 10”

• Head range up to 505 meters.
• Flow range up to 280 m3/hr.

Operation Conditions

• Water temperature up to 45’C.
• Max. Sand quantity into the water: 50g/m3.
• Max. Starts per hour: 20 at regular intervals.
• Direction of rotation: Clockwise as seen from the pump coupling side.
